Job Summary
The Director of OSP Construction Operations will manage field construction crews, project supervisors, and subcontractors for underground fiber and utility installation projects. Key responsibilities include managing project plans and schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining project financials, estimating and bidding projects, and leading weekly staff meetings. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, excellent communication skills, strong leadership ability, and a customer-centric approach.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in underground and/or aerial utility construction within the telecommunications industry
- 3-5+ years of high-level leadership experience managing multiple fiber installation construction projects
- Valid driver license required
- Strong work ethic with an ALL IN attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional Critical Thinking skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
Desired Qualifications
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor’s in Business/Construction Management degree
