Job Summary
Director of Order Management & Quality Compliance leads front-end order intake, validation, and compliance activities, defining intake standards, enforcing payer rules and documentation requirements, and building a disciplined operating model to ensure orders are clinically compliant and ready for downstream fulfillment. The role partners with Sales, fulfillment, and revenue integrity to optimize end-to-end order quality, implement governance for clinical documentation, and drive continuous improvement through metrics such as intake completeness, audit readiness, and defect reduction. Responsibilities include overseeing front-end control desk activities, establishing escalation paths for gray-area cases, and guiding cross-functional teams to align with regulatory and payer requirements while maintaining momentum toward standardized, reliable execution.
Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of medical necessity requirements and payer policy interpretation
- Experience leading managers and developing talent in complex operational healthcare environments
- Proven ability to build controls, enforce standards, and manage escalations in high-risk workflows
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare documentation/workflow systems
