Job Summary
Director of Operations at ADB Companies overseeing nationwide underground fiber and utility installation projects; directly manages field construction crews, Supervisors, and Project Managers; plans, directs, and organizes day-to-day operations; ensures safety culture on-site; manages project plans, schedules, and performance standards; oversees project financials (WIP, JCR, cost to complete); handles onboarding, training, discipline, and terminations; leads strategic planning, weekly staff meetings, and change orders; requires leadership, budget, and contract-management capabilities and experience in telecom infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in underground and/or aerial utility construction within the telecommunications industry required
- 3-5+ years of high-level leadership experience managing multiple fiber installation construction projects within multiple markets required
- Valid driver license required; CDL license preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s in Business/Construction Management degree a plus
- PMP Certification is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
