Job Summary
Director of Operations responsible for strategic and operational management of proposals, vendor negotiation, Vendor Service, Customer Service, and Roll Off functions under COO. Leads an Operations team, overseeing Proposals, Vendor Service, and Customer Service to remove bottlenecks, improve interdepartmental communication, and escalate critical issues. Drives performance through regular reviews, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless post-sale processes and strong customer retention. Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Operations
- Experience training and mentoring managers and team leads
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and hold staff and managers accountable
- Expertise in providing executive oversight to complex business functions, including vendor negotiation and proposal management
- Demonstrated experience in directing a Customer Service function, including serving as the final point of escalation for critical customer retention efforts
- Experience with executive oversight of legal risks, litigation matters, and high-stakes contractual disputes
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
