Job Summary
Provide strategic oversight for Customer Service Managers and off-site employees, including leads and supervisors. Maintain and direct the performance of the freight/logistics contractor to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges while building strong relationships with external health authority contract managers. Lead initiatives to deliver seamless off-site services at hospitals and long-term care facilities, monitoring continuous improvement to achieve business goals. Report to the General Manager in Vancouver, where you will manage a dedicated team and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in supply chain or operations, particularly in logistics or labour-intensive industries and complex service industries
- Strong strategic and business acumen with the ability to optimize operations
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to develop high-performing teams
- Customer-focused with the ability to anticipate and respond to client needs effectively
- Logical and resourceful problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments
