Job Summary
Provide leadership, coaching, and development for project managers and support staff while overseeing project performance to ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Develop and implement operational strategies and departmental goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews across projects. Drive process improvement initiatives using LEAN principles and strengthen relationships with clients, vendors, and project partners. Participate in contract review, negotiations, and issue resolution to support business growth through strategic planning and account development. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards across all projects in this high-impact leadership role at a well-established, employee-focused mechanical contractor in Phoenix, Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 9+ years of relevant construction experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders
- Experience with process improvement and operational optimization
- Demonstrated success delivering projects/programs on time and within budget
- Results-driven with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
