Job Summary
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS responsible for leading a team of restaurant operators across the Phoenix Area, driving operational excellence and achieving sales and profitability targets. Key duties include overseeing field operations, ensuring flawless execution across restaurants, hiring and developing leaders, coordinating strategic plans, monitoring performance with data tools, maintaining compliance with food safety and labor laws, and representing the market with cross-functional partners. Candidates should have a proven leadership track, experience scaling operations in high-growth environments, strong coaching ability, and proficiency with data-driven decision making. The role involves travel to all Arizona Mendocino Farms locations and periodic travel to Los Angeles. The position emphasizes building high-performing teams, maintaining an exceptional guest experience, and delivering on company KPIs while upholding company values and operating principles.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of restaurant management/leadership experience
- senior leadership experience leading large restaurant teams in a dispersed operations environment
- proven ability to manage a P&L
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to coach and develop talent
- ability to travel within Arizona and to Los Angeles as needed
- familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel
