Job Summary
Director of Operations leading multi-site manufacturing operations across Manufacturing Operations, Machine Shop, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Shipping & Receiving, reporting to the General Manager. Own end-to-end operational execution, building a culture of accountability and disciplined performance. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Finance, HR, and Sales to meet site objectives and deliver strong employee and customer experience. Drive operational excellence through cross-site coordination, lean initiatives, KPI-driven management, budget ownership, and integration with enterprise systems. Lead a leadership team to establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met across sites. Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and support acquisitions and integrations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or equivalent experience required.
- 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (machining and/or medical devices preferred).
- Demonstrated success building accountable leadership teams and improving operational performance.
- Strong experience with Lean manufacturing, CI, and KPI-driven management.
- Proven financial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
- Working knowledge of ISO
