Job Summary
Director of Operations responsible for all operational activities and P&L across the distribution center, including inventory accountability and risk management; lead strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and development of a high-performing operations team; drive safety, quality, productivity, and morale while coordinating with HR, Engineering, Six Sigma, Finance, Transportation, and Contractors; manage a staff of 650+ with a focus on cost control, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence; requires 12+ years of experience with 4+ years in management and a 4-year degree, plus strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional experience
- 4+ years of management experience
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of drug distribution methods
- Experience with WMS systems
- Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements
- Experience in budgeting and financial accountability (P&L)
- Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Leadership and talent development experience
