Job Summary
Oversee all daily operations of the facility, managing warehouse and transportation functions while ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Lead the Senior Leadership Team, interview and retain management staff, and conduct performance monitoring with follow-through on disciplinary actions. Develop processes to maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity, including route growth planning and divisional policy implementation. Coordinate warehouse activities with production, sales, and purchasing to improve customer service, efficiency, and morale. Ensure training requirements are met for all employees and maintain accountability for equipment and resources. Utilize data-driven decisions to manage emergent operational crises and fulfill regulatory and SQF requirements.
Required Qualifications
- at least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role
- good written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills
- problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, challenging environment
- Ability to work effectively with others as well as build and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships
- good time management and organizational skills
