Job Summary
Director of Operations role leading multiple departments within a growing solar company. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operational activities, developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and performance, monitoring KPIs, collaborating with leadership on initiatives and long-term planning, creating scalable processes and SOPs, mentoring managers, ensuring compliance with standards, workforce planning and forecasting, and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Requires 5+ years of leadership/operations experience, strong people management and communication skills, data-driven decision making, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with experience in solar.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership or operations management experience in a fast-paced or growth-focused environment
- Strong ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage organizational performance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skill
- Experience managing multiple priorities and departments simultaneously
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
- Proven ability to build accountability and develop high-performing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Experience in solar is required
