Job Summary
Director of Operations - Hydro responsible for coordinating the definition, planning and execution of performance objectives for hydroelectric plants through strategic management, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance of water assets, designing and implementing activity indicators to monitor performance, coordinating annual budgets with area leaders and finance, delivering timely operational, technical and financial reports, ensuring proper implementation of the Operation & Maintenance agreement and related incentives/penalties, ensuring safety and environmental procedures, and fostering cross-functional collaboration (including with Telecomando) to deliver an integrated, transparent operation. Requires an Engineering degree (energy/mechanical/industrial management) with at least 10 years of experience in energy production facilities (preferably hydro), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leadership and team-building skills, and fluency in Portuguese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Formação superior em Engenharia ou área relevante (Energia, Mecânica ou Gestão Industrial)
- No mínimo 10 anos de experiência profissional em funções similares, em contexto de centrais de produção de energia, com preferência por centrais hidroelétricas
- Conhecimento sólido dos sistemas de indexação, monitorização e avaliação da performance operacional de centrais hídricas
- Conhecimento avançado da regulamentação aplicável à exploração de centrais hidroelétricas
- Disponibilidade para deslocações frequentes aos ativos.
