Job Summary
Director of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure efficient, compliant, and seamless distribution across the organization. Lead cross-functional operations including production, facilities, maintenance, inventory/warehouse management, contract manufacturing, project management, cold chain distribution, quality/regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement. Develop and monitor KPIs, manage budgeting and CAPEX, drive lean/process improvements, and ensure adherence to cGMP/GMP, GDP, GLP, FDA CFRs, ISO standards, and customer requirements. Requires collaboration with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Customers, Distribution Channels, and International markets; travel up to 15% and flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed. Strong leadership, budgeting, project management, and technical writing skills are essential; proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in operational, supply chain/logistics, finance, or relevant leadership roles
- Clearance of a favorable background investigation is required
