Job Summary
Director of Operations at EPIC Health leads strategic planning to optimize operational efficiency, patient care quality, and satisfaction across a healthcare network. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, staffing, resource allocation, compliance with healthcare regulations, budgeting and cost control, implementing process improvements, and building high-performing teams. The role requires collaboration with senior leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with healthcare management software and EHRs, and a track record of managing multi-site operations and driving financial and operational performance. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s in healthcare/business administration and professional certifications in healthcare administration; bilingual skills (Spanish or Mandarin) are highly preferred to support Houston’s diverse patient population. Background checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience
- Experience overseeing multi-site healthcare operations (ambulatory care, primary care, specialty care, or value-based care programs preferred)
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance in a healthcare setting
