Job Summary

Lead site and operational execution for the Casper campus, overseeing production, unit delivery, supply chain, and project management teams from engineering handoff through commissioning. Manage facility operations including safety, compliance, maintenance, and staffing while enforcing quality systems and project controls. Directly coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and external customers to drive throughput, resolve risks, and maintain delivery timelines. Report KPIs to leadership and represent operations externally to investors and clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or equivalent hands-on experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in equipment manufacturing, industrial technology, or heavy equipment/capital goods environments
  • Proven track record scaling production or project delivery teams in a high-growth or startup-to-scale-up environment
  • Direct experience managing cross-functional teams spanning supply chain, production, technicians, and project management
  • Demonstrated success implementing quality systems (NCR/CAPA, FAT, inspection, manufacturing records) and project controls (scope, cost, schedule, risk tracking)
  • Experience owning engineering-to-operations handoffs, including BOM management, design releases, and technical deviations
  • Background in site/facility leadership, including safety culture, 5S standards, and compliance ownership
  • Familiarity with capacity planning across labor, shop loading, and long-lead materials/suppliers
  • Experience with customer-facing responsibilities such as commissioning, field service, or on-site performance audits
  • Prior P&L-adjacent accountability (budget, inventory, labor productivity, warranty exposure)
  • Production planning and scheduling (backlog visibility, capacity planning)
  • Project controls (scope, cost, schedule, risk/change management)
  • Quality systems management (NCR/CAPA, FAT, inspection)
  • Supply chain and vendor negotiation
  • Cross-functional team leadership and staffing management
  • Safety and compliance program ownership
  • Engineering-to-operations handoff (BOM, drawings, technical deviations)
  • KPI reporting and operations rhythm/governance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and company information
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, supporting shared goals and fostering positive relationships
  • Adapt to dynamic environments and identify solutions to challenges with flexibility and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain professionalism with high attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and accuracy in all work deliverables

  • Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout shop floor and facility for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to interact with people and technology while either standing or sitting
  • Ability to communicate face-to-face and on the phone with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as typing
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
