Job Summary
Director of Operations (Director of Construction) responsible for leading and scaling a high-performing landscape construction division focused on luxury outdoor living, hardscape, and residential projects. Own full P&L for the construction division, drive revenue and margins, lead budgeting/forecasting, ensure cash flow and AR performance, and build a team of project managers and field leaders. Standardize processes with SOPs, implement onboarding/training, ensure safety, quality, and execution across all projects, manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, and maintain elite client experience from start to finish. A coach and leader who builds systems, drives accountability, and delivers projects on time and on budget while achieving high client satisfaction and repeat business. Compensation includes a base salary target of $100,000 plus profit sharing and additional incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in landscape construction or similar project-based environments
- Strong business acumen with P&L ownership
- Experience managing Project Managers and multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to build systems, develop people, and drive accountability
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven
