Director of Operations - Commercial

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day construction operations and translate strategic growth plans into actionable operational plans. Lead and organize project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery; drive business development by cultivating client relations, identifying new markets, and assisting with project proposals and presentations. Manage preconstruction activities, coordinate with preconstruction and estimating, review owner contracts with Risk to negotiate terms and mitigate risks, and provide construction support to Project Managers. Enforce safety, review project schedules and accounting to ensure project success, and develop policies/procedures to improve day-to-day operations. Lead hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions; foster a positive work environment and career development. Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or construction or equivalent relevant experience and at least 10 years in Commercial Construction.

- Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or construction or equivalent relevant experience
- Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related Commercial Construction experience
- Superb verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
