Job Summary
Oversee all post-harvest operations from harvest through finished goods inventory, developing production schedules and coordinating workflow between cultivation, processing, packaging, and inventory. Schedule and manage contract crews for harvest, trimming, and packaging while monitoring drying and curing room capacity to ensure minimal delays. Maintain accurate inventory across all stages, reconcile physical counts with METRC and Distru, and verify transfers into available-for-sale stock. Ensure compliance with OMMA regulations and SOPs, coordinate product testing and release, and prepare for regulatory inspections. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize labor utilization and operational efficiency, managing departmental budgets and reporting KPIs to executive leadership. Collaborate with Cultivation, Sales, Compliance, and Finance to align production with customer demand.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of operations management experience
- Experience managing production schedules and workflow
- Strong inventory management experience
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Cannabis industry experience
- Knowledge of OMMA regulations
- Experience using METRC
- Experience using Distru or similar ERP software
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
