Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the Cape Cod vacation rental portfolio by overseeing cleaning standards, coordinating vendor relationships, and managing maintenance requests from start to resolution. Develop and document operational processes, monitor performance metrics, and resolve guest concerns while ensuring properties remain inspection-ready and fully stocked. Drive accountability across field teams, support new property launches during the offseason, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability. This role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution to protect owner investments and consistently deliver five-star guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside within the Cape Cod area
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between properties throughout the region
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive operations leadership experience within hospitality, vacation rentals, property management, field services, or another fast-paced service-based business mandatory
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Proven experience leading vendors, contractors, field teams, or cross-functional operations while driving accountability and results
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make confident decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and guests
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Desired Qualifications
- Vacation rental or short-term rental management experience
- Experience managing property maintenance or residential facilities
- Familiarity with property management software and operational technology platforms
- Experience launching new properties or scaling operational systems
- Knowledge of the Cape Cod market and local vendor network
