Job Summary
Oversee daily operations across the Charleston portfolio, including turnover scheduling, housekeeping quality, maintenance response, and guest-ready standards. Develop and maintain SOPs that create consistency and accountability while owning the guest experience from pre-arrival through post-departure. Lead and develop the operations team, establish performance expectations, and manage on-call rotations for emergency response. Source and negotiate with vendors, build relationships with homeowners, and support new property onboarding. Partner with the executive team on budgeting, cost controls, and margin improvement while tracking key operational KPIs. Full-time role with occasional evening and weekend availability; salary $70,000-$80,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience in hospitality, property management, or vacation rentals
- Proven experience leading teams, managing vendors, and overseeing multi-property operations
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the professionalism to work directly with high-net-worth homeowners and guests
- Ability and willingness to participate in on-call coverage, including evenings and weekends as needed for guest or property emergencies
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular property visits throughout the Charleston area
Desired Qualifications
- Luxury hospitality or luxury vacation rental experience
- Experience within the Charleston, SC hospitality or short-term rental market
- Familiarity with historic home preservation standards and coastal property maintenance
