Job Summary
Manage airport ground handling operations at Montreal Trudeau International Airport by ensuring service delivery to airlines meets contract terms and budget constraints. Oversee safety and security procedures aligned with Menzies Health & Safety Policy and international aviation standards, while monitoring performance to correct shortfalls. Liaise with airline station managers, airport operations, customs, immigration, union officials, and other stakeholders to coordinate complex airport activities. Provide leadership to multiple teams, develop their skills, and negotiate contracts with airlines and staff agreements with union representatives. Deliver required reports and service delivery measurements, ensuring all tasks comply with company and airline procedures. Work shifts as required by the business to support SLA-driven customer expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada
- Computer literate, solid knowledge of MS Office as well as other related programs
- Vaste experience in Ramp Handling and good understanding of the Operational
- Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances
- Familiar with GOMs, Airline procedures, Airport procedures, Airport legislations
- Fully versed on International Aviation Safety and Security standards and passionate about promoting them within the organization
- SLA driven to meet customer expectations by delivering
- Adaptability with regards to working with a multi-national workforce, and collaborating well with local working unions
- Previous airline/aviation operational knowledge is required
