Job Summary
Lead Lean and process-improvement initiatives across departments; independently manage large-scale operational projects from initiation to completion with measurable outcomes; coach program leaders in continuous improvement and build capability across teams; assess workflows to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable recommendations; maintain ongoing COO portfolio visibility, ensure accountability, and escalate issues with recommended actions; collaborate cross-functionally to translate senior leadership priorities into organized, time-bound work plans; this onsite role is based at the San Francisco Mission Campus with a starting salary in the $137k-$152k range and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field required
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, or related field with success leading cross-functional initiatives
- Formal training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodology strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational risks and barriers and intervene proactively
- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to coach and influence across organizational levels
- Experience in developing and maintaining project management tools, frameworks, and templates
- Commitment to organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives
- Onsite work requirement at SF SPCA site (San Francisco Mission Campus)
- Salary range $137,000-$152,000 as listed in description
