Job Summary

Director of Omnichannel leading and executing unified customer experience and commerce strategy across all DTC revenue channels. Oversees strategy, execution, and optimization of digital commerce activities and marketplaces to drive website traffic, improve conversion, maximize average order value, and manage margin performance. Serves as steward of the customer journey ensuring consistency, profitability and operational excellence across eCommerce, retail stores, wholesale, marketplaces and emerging channels. Role is hybrid with in-office time at the Corporate Headquarters in Fairhaven, MA. Responsibilities include owning omnichannel strategy across channels; driving profitable revenue growth; developing integrated commercial strategies; leading planning, forecasting, budgeting; establishing KPIs; identifying growth opportunities; managing end-to-end eCommerce function (design, content, navigation, branding, performance); translating insights into action to optimize site experience, merchandising, campaigns, subscriptions and loyalty; aligning channel strategies with Retail and Wholesale; achieving revenue and profitability targets; advanced analytics for planning, testing and reporting (Google Analytics and other platforms); owning eCommerce technology roadmap (Shopify, Shopify App integration, ERP connectivity); mentoring high-performing teams; identifying new revenue opportunities; managing budgets, P&L and resource allocation; leading website strategy (SEO, GEO/AEO, CRO); collaborating with marketing, design, IT and planning; providing career growth guidance; staying ahead of industry trends; strong leadership and project management skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, analytics or a related field; MBA preferred; master’s degree a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail, wholesale, or omnichannel leadership roles
  • Proven success managing multi-channel businesses with revenue growth and profitability
  • Extensive knowledge of Shopify, ERP systems, analytics platforms, CRM tools and modern commerce technologies
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel retail strategy, customer experience, digital marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, and CRM
  • Ability to specify and communicate technical requirements to development teams
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns, backlinking strategies, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to search, conversion, spend, and creative performance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging eCommerce tools
