Director of OEM Distribution

Job Summary
Develop and lead the global distribution strategy across all channels, including B2B and Direct Connect. Lead relationships with OEMs, MROs, and distribution partners to transform business and achieve financial targets by growing distribution and consignment opportunities. Present professional business solutions to build portfolios and grow market share while negotiating commercial agreements for strategic access to key markets. Partner with Sales and Commercial Solutions teams to align strategies and oversee implementation of distribution innovations. Monitor performance metrics to optimize the distribution cost versus revenue generation balance, manage cycle counts, and review inventory costs. Represent GA Telesis in global distribution and industry forums to advocate for favorable policies and partnerships. This on-site role in Fort Lauderdale, FL, reports directly to the Vice President of Product & Asset Integration and requires 10+ years of experience in commercial operations within the aviation or aftermarket industry.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in commercial and business operations
- Project management, or product coordination roles, preferably in the aviation or aftermarket industry
- Competent user of Microsoft applications, (Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, etc.)
- Team player and leader with integrity and a bias for execution
- Exceptionally well-organized and detail oriented
- Proficient at translating strategic direction into actionable plans/workstreams and ensuring execution follow-through
- Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills at all organizational levels; ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear and intuitive manner
- Effective project management skills include experience leading, coordinating, and executing projects and/or programs with high business impact
- Familiarity with global regulatory environments impacting distribution and retailing
