Director of Nursing

Provide effective, proactive leadership to clinic nurses, infusion nurses, nurse navigators, schedulers, and referral intake coordinators while ensuring competency through ongoing training and education. Maintain adherence to internal standard operating procedures and use continuous process improvement to support patient care workflows and compliant care delivery in clinical research protocols. Serve as nurse educator and preceptor for new staff, review incoming protocols for feasibility, and track metrics for referral intake and enrollment. Ensure high-quality, coordinated care by communicating care plans, returning patient calls promptly, and providing same-day visits for time-sensitive issues. Collaborate with physicians, regulatory, quality, and support departments to facilitate successful care delivery and compliance with federal and GCP requirements. Manage study allocation equitably and support growth goals regarding new patient referrals and accrals.
