Job Summary
Develop and implement the 24-hour quality patient care and service delivery plan, managing fiscal responsibility, quality outcomes, and nursing growth using evidence-based practices. Demonstrate competency in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting staff while overseeing annual budgets for capital, workforce, and operational needs. Manage physician and employee complaints to optimize the work environment, maintain survey readiness through adherence to local, state, and national standards, and foster interdepartmental relationships. Lead performance expectation processes, mentor staff, and participate in hospital committees as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- Minimum 3-5 years acute care nursing experience
- At least 1 year in a Charge Nurse or Patient Care Supervisor role
- Registered Nurse license
- Ped Advanced Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life certification
Desired Qualifications
- BSN Prepared Nurse
- BSN prepared upon hire
- Actively enrolled in BSN program within 1 year of hire
