Job Summary
As Director of Nursing, lead nursing operations and nursing staff development within a skilled nursing facility. Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; manage patient records and confidentiality; collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Drive quality improvement, risk management, and care planning; train and onboard staff; conduct daily rounds to monitor quality of care and staff performance; promote a positive, patient-centered culture and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Previous nursing leadership experience preferred, especially in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical best practices
