Job Summary
Direct nursing services, develop and evaluate programs, and oversee staff development while ensuring care aligns with resident wishes and advance directives. Monitor 24-hour shift reports, medication passes, and safety incidents to manage quality assurance and performance improvement. Collaborate with healthcare professionals on facility assessments and risk mitigation committees. Requires an active RN license, three years of supervisory experience, and six months in rehabilitative nursing. On-call 24/7 with weekend and holiday coverage. Required Qualifications
- current unencumbered active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State
- knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- three (3) year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility or other related health care facility
- six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
- ability to work on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
