Job Summary
Direct nursing administration, nursing services, and resident care by developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating day-to-day department functions. Maintain clear lines of authority, ensure current nursing policies and manuals, and coordinate services with other resident departments. Lead quality assurance programs, manage incident reports, and develop corrective action plans for regulatory compliance. Assist with discharge procedures, plan monthly P&L and QI reports, and participate in government surveys and inspections. Provide 24-hour nursing coverage, determine staffing needs, and interpret policies for personnel, residents, and agencies. Report to the Administrator and Regional Director as required.
Required Qualifications
- degree in nursing from an accredited school
- current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility
- previous long-term care experience
