Job Summary
Maintain and implement total nursing care for facility patients while orienting, instructing, and supervising registered nurses, licensed professional nurses, nursing assistants, and other clinical staff. Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available, and maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local standards to assure quality care outcomes. Coordinate and maintain the MDS and care planning process, and attend or conduct patient care conferences for residents. This Director of Nursing role requires two years of experience in a skilled nursing facility and a current state license. Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse, currently licensed by the state
- Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing when directing the care of residents
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing is strongly preferred within a skilled nursing facility
