Director of Nursing Services/Wellness Director

Job Summary
Coordinate, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department in compliance with facility rules and regulations. Maintain the reference library, develop methods for coordinating nursing with resident services, and ensure continuity of care regimens. Participate in facility surveys, analyze clinical outcome data trends, and lead the QA and A Committee in correcting deficiencies. Monitor staffing needs, select nursing staff, conduct performance evaluations, and manage the nursing services budget. Assist in planning admissions, discharges, and in-service training programs while ensuring resident rights and dignity are maintained. Requires RN licensure, Bachelor's degree in nursing, and three years of long-term care management experience.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in long term care nursing management
- At least 2 years nursing managerial experience
- Travel as required for regional or corporate meetings and marketing duties
- Currently licensed as RN in state of practice
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with two years of additional education in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing
