Director of Nursing Services II

Direct departmental health administration needs and requirements as directed by upper management. Manage a medical recordkeeping system including detailed patient health records, ensuring complete confidentiality and records security of patient health data as well as doctor notes and recommendations. Direct Directors, Senior Managers, and occasionally senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching feedback. Lead area processes for the Nursing Services unit, and ensure methods align with the overall business strategy. Maintain written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services function. Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other patient services to ensure the continuity of the patients' total regimen of care. Perform administrative duties such as admitting, discharging, transferring patients, completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting. Manage team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. Manage operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs. Create a purpose driven environment by aligning the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being with the strategies and goals of the Health Administration team.
