Director of Nursing Services Exempt

Assume responsibility for the center in the Administrator's absence and implement policies with follow-up and supervision of staff to ensure compliance. Recruit, select, coach, and discipline Nursing Department employees while ensuring timely performance evaluations and efficient scheduling. Analyze nursing services to improve quality of resident care and plan better utilization of staff time and activities. Make daily rounds, follow up on shift changes, and develop systems that respect residents' lifestyles to ensure they reach the highest attainable level of functioning. Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, Health Department, and CDC to maintain current standard practices.
