Director of Nursing Services Exempt

Assume responsibility for the center in the Administrator's absence and implement policies with follow-up and supervision of staff to ensure compliance. Recruit, select, coach, and discipline Nursing Department employees while ensuring accurate scheduling and timely performance evaluations. Analyze nursing services to improve quality of resident care and plan better utilization of staff time and activities. Make daily rounds, follow up on each shift to ensure status changes are reported, and develop systems that respect residents' lifestyles. Assist in preparing the department budget and administer approved funds. This role supports Diversicare's mission to improve lives through exceptional healthcare at 42 skilled nursing and long-term care centers across the Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest.
