Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership to the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and Envive Healthcare of Berne's policies and procedures. Develop and implement effective nursing practices, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality resident care while overseeing staff management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Manage the nursing department budget to ensure effective resource allocation and budgetary compliance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, staying up-to-date with current laws and regulations influencing nursing facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN License
- Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry
- Two years professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting
- Knowledge of the Federal and State Regulations for Long Term Care
- Knowledge of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities
