Job Summary
Oversee the nursing staff to ensure quality resident/patient care meeting regulatory standards, including scheduling rounds, conducting daily clinical start-up meetings, and attending weekly "at risk" reviews. Manage the annual budget, develop staffing plans, and hire or retain qualified nursing personnel while monitoring performance appraisals. Direct clinical aspects of state and federal survey processes, evaluate residents for appropriate care levels, and maintain proper documentation and antibiotic protocols. Collaborate with the medical director on educational needs and analyze clinical outcome data to drive quality improvement initiatives. Requires valid RN licensure and 1-3 years of nursing management experience in long-term care. Full-time role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, located in person.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid state licensure as an RN
- One to three (1-3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care of acute care
- Supervises nursing staff
- Proficient in the use of personal computers
- Must be able to travel, including overnight stays
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
- Must have ability to complete multiple projects
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
- Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients' families, government regulators and other team members at all levels

Desired Qualifications
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience
