Job Summary
Director of Nursing RN responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services; ensures regulatory compliance, implements nursing core programs, oversees budgeting and staffing, mentors staff, conducts staff development, and maintains resident care quality. Requires CPR and BLS, current RN license, and a BSN (preferred); duties include recruiting and training, performance reviews, admissions coordination, daily rounds, HIPAA/privacy adherence, and on-call coverage with occasional overnight travel; strong leadership, financial, and communication skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certification
- BLS certification
- Current RN license in the state
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
