Job Summary
The Director of Nursing for the RN program at ECPI University is responsible for overseeing admissions, academic progression, and graduation of students. This role includes evaluating student progress, selecting and supervising faculty, and ensuring program effectiveness through evaluation of course materials and faculty development. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Nursing, a current RN license, and significant experience in nursing and nursing education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc)
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed
- Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience
- Minimum of two years of experience as a full-time faculty member in an approved nursing program
- Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse
- Strong academic and professional record
- Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment
- The highest levels of integrity at all times
- Orientation toward results
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
