Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day nursing operations at Eventide Crete, including planning, developing, and directing the nursing department in accordance with state and federal regulations. Direct individualized care plans through chart review, make final decisions on resident admissions and moves, and ensure comprehensive discharge planning is conducted. Lead interdisciplinary teams to evaluate procedures, improve care delivery, and monitor Medicare eligibility while maintaining clean and sanitary nursing areas. Perform direct nursing care as necessary, conduct daily rounds to verify staff adherence to standards, and manage hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions for Resident Care positions. Rotate weekend and weekly on-call responsibilities and represent the facility at community functions.
Required Qualifications
- active NE RN license or be able to obtain upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Long Term Care experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience as a supervisor/manager a plus
