Job Summary
Directs and manages Emergency Services nursing operations for a large, 24/7 Emergency Department (36-bed ED with OASIS unit) in Florence, AL. Leads strategic program design, performance improvement, staffing, budgeting, and patient-safety initiatives; collaborates with physicians, providers, and hospital leadership to elevate clinical performance, accreditation readiness, and patient experience; oversees staff education, competency, and adherence to standards; partners with quality leadership to ensure compliance and reliability; focuses on reconciliation of outcomes, costs, and staff engagement across the ED and related service lines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure)
- BLS and ACLS required (or obtained within a defined timeframe)
- Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services
