Job Summary
Oversee and manage the nursing department, including staff scheduling, orientation, and development, while developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Conduct regular rounds and assessments to identify areas for improvement and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and manage budgets and expense reports for the nursing department. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a welcoming environment. Provide on-call clinical support and maintain state survey readiness daily. Requires current Missouri RN license and experience in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced as a Director of Nursing (DON) or in a similar leadership role
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Missouri
- Understand the importance of being state survey ready, every day
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Provide on-call clinical support, professionalism, and a commitment to ensuring exceptional resident care and operational excellence
