Job Summary
The RN Director of Nursing Residency Program leads the nursing residency experience, guiding a resident through comprehensive training across nursing operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, staff management, and facility management with rotation through multiple departments. After program completion, the resident is expected to assume a nursing leadership role. Responsibilities emphasize developing leadership capabilities, coordinating with department heads, and preparing for future Director of Nursing duties. Requires an active RN license, CPR certification, supervisory experience in a nursing facility, and the ability to travel to the hosting community.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
- Must possess an active CPR certification for healthcare providers by an American Heart Association (AHA) approved provider.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing facility.
- Ability to travel to the community providing the residency.
