Job Summary
RN Director of Nursing in Training role focused on preparing an aspiring nurse leader for a future Director of Nursing position. The program provides comprehensive exposure across nursing home operations, clinical care, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, staff management, and facility leadership through rotation across departments. After successful completion of the residency, the candidate will assume a nursing leadership role per program requirements. Key responsibilities include developing leadership and operational skills, coordinating with department heads, ensuring resident-centered care, and guiding the nursing department toward excellence while traveling to communities as part of the residency. Required qualifications include an active RN license, AHA CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience in a nursing facility; travel to community locations is required. Shift is Full-Time with variable hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of work
- Must possess active CPR certification for healthcare providers (AHA)
- Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in a nursing facility
- Ability to travel to the community providing the residency
