Job Summary
Oversee the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and effective management of nursing staff. Provide guidance and support to nursing personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and manage staffing levels and resource allocation. Monitor patient outcomes, implement quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans. Ensure delivery of safe, compassionate care while maintaining state and federal regulatory compliance. Prepare for inspections, assist in policy development, and manage departmental budgets. Full-time role in Bellingham, WA, with a salary range of $140k-$160k DOE plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure
- Current and valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in managing nursing staff and operations
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and nursing excellence
