Job Summary
Director of Nursing Operations responsible for coordinating and administering all operational aspects to provide effective quality care for patients. Leads planning and directing administrative/operational functions to maximize patient revenues, ensure regulatory compliance, and attract new patients. Develops and administers departmental budgets, monitors productivity, staffs development, and ensures alignment with care-management goals and system-wide objectives. Oversees collaboration with care management, drives efficiency improvements, ensures adherence to quality and safety standards, and represents nursing operations in policy development, interdepartmental coordination, and program implementation. Requires a Master's degree in a health-care related field (and an advanced degree in business administration, hospital administration, or related field), plus 5 years of healthcare management experience and an active RN license in the employed state.
