Job Summary
Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols while collaborating with healthcare professionals to create patient care plans. Monitor staff performance, manage departmental budgets, and ensure compliance with Medicare standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in strategic planning to improve patient outcomes. Requires a BSN, current RN license, and five years of nursing leadership experience. Full-time day shift with on-call rotation in Edwardsville, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of education preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a healthcare facility with Medicare patients
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Supervising experience: 1 year (Required)
