Job Summary
Oversee nursing staff and unit processes while developing and implementing the strategic plan for assigned areas. Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and executed effectively across all responsibilities. Take a leading role in regulatory surveys to guarantee compliance and actively participate in PI committee meetings to report data. Plan, organize, and control risk management activities to ensure a safe environment for patients, clients, employees, and visitors. Maintain adequate staffing levels to deliver quality care and patient safety in alignment with Joint Commission and state licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Bachelor's of Health Administration from an accredited college or university
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in acute psychiatric, mental health, medical-surgical, or emergency department settings
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing management or leadership experience
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, State, and CMS requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing or a Master's of Health Administration
- Previous experience in addiction or psychiatric care
