Job Summary
Direct and coordinate the clinical activities and operations of Medical Surgical/Oncology/Telemetry units; supervise nursing staff, evaluate performance, and ensure patient-centered care. Support staff mentoring, work redesign and quality improvement using evidence-based practice to achieve clinical excellence. Maintain fiscal responsibility for department operating budgets and administrative functions; collaborate with other leaders to drive initiatives and uphold service excellence in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- BSN, required
- MSN, required
- Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Minimum of three (3) years of practice area experience, required
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience, required
