Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel, including guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors. Manage clinical teams, evaluate performance, and conduct annual clinician evaluations while assisting in hiring, termination, and developing evaluation techniques. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and adjust staffing levels, then oversee maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, and reports in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Develop and implement orientation and continuing education programs, assist in budget preparation, and ensure adherence to CHAP Home Care standards and licensure requirements. Act as the Executive Director/Administrator in their absence.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse in the State with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Organization requirements and is in good working order
- Has excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in hospice preferred
