Job Summary
Direct day-to-day clinical operations within Sage Living by overseeing nursing staff, ensuring resident care plans are implemented safely and timely, and maintaining full regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines. Conduct routine environmental and clinical rounds to verify supply adequacy and identify workflow improvements, while actively managing risk mitigation, incident reporting, and policy development. Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and annual evaluations for LPNs, RNs, CNAs, and other clinical team members, fostering a culture of person-centered care and service excellence. Collaborate with the Executive Director and cross-departmental leadership to drive quality outcomes, participate in committees such as Fall and Infection Prevention, and assume departmental leadership in the Executive Director's absence.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role
- Current RN license with the authority to practice in the state of WY
- BLS
- Must be physically active including heavy lifting and moving of residents
- Must possess the ability to push, pull or move residents, equipment and supplies
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must possess the ability to do occasional shift work
- Potential overnight travel
- Must be on-site at the SJH campus or other facilities to fulfill the responsibilities of this role
- Aware of future policies, practice, trends, developments in long term care and the impact on Sage Living operations
- Understands culture change and its ongoing importance throughout Sage Living
- Thinks outside of the box to come up with unique and new ideas to continue to improve all Sage Living can do for its staff and residents
